Tehran, SANA-Iranian Foreign Ministry considered that the condemned aggressive action of the Zionist entity against Iran as a flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, especially the principle of prohibiting the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of states.

“It has been repeatedly emphasized by the competent authorities that Iran has the right and duty to defend itself against external aggression in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter”, Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

The statement noted that Iran relies on all the material and moral capabilities of its people in order to defend its security and vital interests, and it is aware of its responsibilities towards regional peace and security, and stresses the individual and collective responsibility of all countries in the region to protect regional peace and stability.
The statement added that Iran thanks all peace-loving countries that have condemned and expressed their denunciation of the aggressive action of the occupying Israeli entity.

“continuation of the crimes of the Zionist entity in the region, especially against the Palestinian people and its aggression against Lebanon, which continues with comprehensive military and political support from the United States and some Western countries, constitutes the main reason for tension and insecurity in the region” Iranian Ministry underlined.

In its statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recalled all member states of the United Nations, and the states parties to the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide and the four Geneva Conventions of 1949, about the responsibility to take urgent and collective action to confront serious violations of international law and the United Nations Charter, which at the same time constitute a serious violation of international peace and security.

Iranian Foreign Ministry also called on the international community to take immediate and urgent action to stop the genocide, war and aggression against Gaza and Lebanon, and to curb the Zionist entity’s belligerence.

Beirut, SANA-Hundreds of civilians were martyred and others injured in the ongoing Israeli aggression on various Lebanese regions

Lebanese National News Agency reported that ‘’961 Israeli enemy raids over Baalbek-Hermel Governorate and the central Bekaa, leading to the martyrdom of 427 people and the injury of 988 others, while three people were also martyred last night in Israeli warplanes’ bombing on al-Shaitiya town, southern Lebanon.’’
The agency indicated that the enemy’s warplanes deliberately blew up and demolished residential homes in neighborhoods in Adaisseh town.

Furthermore, the enemy’s airstrikes on a house in Amshki town on the hills overlooking Baalbek resulted in the injury of a Lebanese citizen.

This morning, the enemy’s warplanes shelled a house in al-Sawan neighborhood at Kfarreman town, destroying it in and a building containing shops, offices, and residential apartments, causing extensive damage to the neighboring buildings.

Damascus, SANA- Syria condemned in the strongest terms the blatant Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressing its solidarity and support for Iran in the face of the aggression it is being subjected to.

“Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms the blatant Israeli aggression that took place on Saturday at dawn against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which coincided with a brutal air aggression against Syria, in a blatant violation of the sovereignty and sanctity of Iranian and Syrian territories, and a flagrant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter”, Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

The Statement added “Syria stresses that this Israeli aggression comes in the context of this entity’s disregard for all international laws and its insistence on its ongoing criminal aggressive approach against the countries of the region, and the war of genocide and war crimes it is committing against their peoples.”

“Syrian Arab Republic supports Iran’s legitimate right to defend itself, protect its territories and the lives of its citizens, which is guaranteed by international laws, and expresses its strong solidarity and support for it in the face of the aggression it is being subjected to,” calling once again on all free countries of the world to condemn Israel’s aggressive actions, work to put an end to them, and ensure that the perpetrators are held accountable and that they do not escape punishment”, Foreign and Expatriates Ministry concluded its statement .

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures tend to rise slightly from 2 to 4 degrees, yet they remian below average, as the country is affected by an extension of a superfacial high pressure, accompanied by a weak extension of a low pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology department expected in its Saturday bulletin that ‘’The weather will be generally clear to partly  cloudy and misty in the eastern, al-jazeera, northern and southern regions, and tending to be cold at night in most areas and cold on the mountainous heights.’’

The winds will be variable in direction, light to moderate, and the sea will be light in wave height.

Dubai, SANA-With the participation of Syria, the preparatory coordination meeting of the 9th edition of the Arab Reading Challenge initiative was held in Dubai.

During the meeting, the general coordinator of the initiative in Syria Ali al-Abbas, reviewed the difficulties and work mechanism, and what was implemented in the eighth season of the initiative, as a presentation was given of the updated digital library that will constitute an incentive for students participating in the reading challenge.

Damascus, SANA-The army air defenses repelled an Israeli missile aggression that targeted some military sites in the central and southern Regions.

“Nearly at 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, the Israeli enemy launched an air missile aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan and Lebanese territories, targeting some military sites in the southern and central regions.” a Military source told SANA.

The source added that the army air defenses intercepted the missiles and downed most of them, indicating that work is still underway to verify the effects of the aggression.

Damascus-SANA- The Union of Journalists in Syria denounced the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces who deliberately attacked media cadres this Friday killing two colleagues from Al Mayadeen and another from Al Manar and injured three others.

The union stressed that such attacks on journalists are aimed at preventing them from conveying reality of the genocidal war that Israel is waging against civilians and innocents, indicating that the entity’s continued targeting of journalists is a war crime by all standards.

The Union called on international organizations, media, humanitarian and legal institutions to hold the Zionist entity fully legally and morally responsible for this brutal attack and not let those behind this targeting escape punishment.

The Union offered its condolences to the families of the martyrs and to Al-Mayadeen and Al-Manar channels.

Kazan, SANA-Bolivian President Luis Arce Catacora affirmed his country’s support for the Palestinian people and their right to establish their independent state on the occupied Palestinian territories with Jerusalem as its capital..

The Bolivian President was speaking during the sixteenth annual BRICS summit, which was held in Kazan, Russia and concluded Thursday.

The Bolivian president condemned the criminal Israeli attacks and the ethnic cleansing campaign carried out by the occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.

President Arce pointed out that his country joined the lawsuit filed by South Africa before the International Court of Justice against the Israeli occupation for committing crimes of genocide against the Palestinian people.

Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry announced Friday that seven Ukrainian drones and a small balloon were shot down and destroyed over Russian territory.

Sputnik quoted the ministry as saying: “Last night, the Kiev regime’s attempts to carry out terrorist attacks using drones and a small balloon on targets inside Russian territory were stopped.

Ukrainian forces target Russian border areas in the Republic of Crimea, and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh regions with drones and missiles almost daily.

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Israeli occupation forces stormed on Friday, Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza Strip, coinciding with the continuation of the war of genocide, violent bombing, worsening humanitarian disasters, and the tightened siege on the northern areas for 21 days.

Wafa Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the hospital and forced the patients to go down to the main square, noting that the occupation escalated its shelling of the hospital buildings before storming it, which led to the injury of a number of medical staff members, in addition to the shattering of the windows of the patients’ rooms.

The agency pointed out that the main oxygen station inside the hospital went out of service after it was bombed by the occupation, which increased the seriousness of the patients’ health condition.

Palestinian Health Ministry called on the free people of the world to do everything possible to save what can be saved in Kamal Adwan Hospital, warning that the occupation is committing the most heinous genocide and the most widespread systematic operation to destroy the health system.

The Ministry noted that the international community stood silent as the occupation killed and arrested patients and medical staff.

Moscow, SANA- Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that the primary cause of what is happening in Gaza Strip is the failure to establish a “full-fledged” Palestinian state, and to implement relevant international resolutions.

“Most of those who lost their lives during the war on Gaza Strip were women and children,” RT quoted Putin as saying at a press conference at the conclusion of the 16th BRICS summit in Kazan on Thursday.

He added “There is no person on earth whose heart does not bleed when he sees what is happening in Gaza, noting that more than 40,000 people have died, and most of them are women and children,”.

Putin stressed that from Russia’s point of view, “this conflict can only be resolved after removing its causes, the main cause of which is the absence of a full-fledged Palestinian state, and we need to implement all Security Council resolutions in this context.”

Russian President expressed deep concern about what is happening in the Middle East, adding that Moscow does not want the conflict in the region to escalate, and everyone must work to prevent this escalation from occur.

“the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza Strip is an exceptional and unprecedented situation that requires solidarity with the Palestinian people, and we must do our utmost to establish an independent Palestinian state”, Putin said during the expanded session within the framework of the BRICS summit.

Beirut, SANA- Hezbollah’s media relations strongly condemned the deliberate Zionist targeting of on the residence of journalists in Hasbaya, southern Lebanon, which led to the martyrdom and injury of a number of journalists.

“The new crime is added to the Israeli entity’s horrific and terrorist record of targeting journalists and media outlets in Gaza and Lebanon, and we call on media and union associations and bodies to condemn this crime and criminalize the enemy in international forums”, the media relations department said in a statement.

Lebanese media announced on Friday the martyrdom of three journalists in an Israeli air strike on the residence of journalists in Hasbaya.

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- 28 Palestinians were martyred on Friday in a new massacre committed by Israeli occupation forces in Khan Yunis city, south of the afflicted Gaza Strip.

Palestinian media reported that the occupation forces bombed a house in al-Manara area, south of Khan Yunis, which resulted in the martyrdom of 28 Palestinians, most of them children and women.

On Thursday, the Israeli occupation have committed 6 massacres against Palestinian families in various areas of the afflicted Gaza Strip, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and wounded.

occupied Jerusalem, SANA-Israeli occupation forces have committed on Thursday evening two new massacres in Jabalia camp,northern Gaza Strip and Khan Yunis, resulting in 173 martyrs and wounded.

Palestinian media reported that 150 Palestinians, including children and women, were killed and injured as a result of the occupation forces’ bombing of at least ten houses in Al-Hawja area in the middle of Jabalia camp.
Ambulance and rescue crews are still finding it difficult to reach the victims after the occupation disrupted their work in the northern Gaza Strip.

In the southern Gaza Strip, three Palestinians were killed and more than 20 were injured as a result of the ongoing Israeli air strikes on Khan Yunis.

SANA reporter said the initial information indicate that an explosive device stuck to the car went off.

In the same context, Head of the local municipality of  Yousef al-Azmeh residential suburb Moahammad Alloush told SANA that an explosive device stuck to the car went off, injuring the driver and causing material damage to the properties.

Damascus, SANA- Syrian Investment Authority has granted a new investment license in the chemical industries sector supporting the agricultural sector for an enterprise to produce all types of veterinary medicines in the industrial zone in Sheikh Badr, Tartous Province.

The estimated investment cost of the venture exceeds 62 billion Syrian pounds, with an annual production capacity of 300 thousand liters of liquid medicines and 400 tons of powdered medicines, the authority stated to SANA reporter.

The project is expected to provide 31 job opportunities in the province.

Damascus, SANA- Local Administration Minister, Louai kharitah, met Thursday, head of the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in Syria, Stephane Sakalian.

The two sides discussed coordinating efforts in the humanitarian response for arrivals from Lebanon and encouraging the return of Syrian refugees to their homeland.

Minister Kharitah stressed the need for continued coordination between the two parties to deliver humanitarian aid to those who deserve it, noting the facilities provided by the Syrian government to receive those arriving as a result of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon and to provide an appropriate response to them.

In turn, Sakalian praised the efforts made by the Local Administration Ministry to ensure the success of the work of the Red Cross Committee and its partners in Syria and to facilitate its work with all parties and ministries.
