Damascus, SANA-Syria condemned the terrorist aggression launched by the Israeli occupation entity at dawn Friday, targeting a number of points in Aleppo countryside.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement, “Syria condemns the terrorist aggression launched by the Israeli occupation entity at dawn Friday, targeting a number of points in Aleppo countryside, causing the martyrdom and wounding a number of civilians and military personnel and material damage on public and private property.”.

The ministry added: “It was not a coincidence that the racist Zionist entity carried out this aggression at the same time that terrorist groups allied with the Zionist entity launched drone attacks carried out from Idleb and the western countryside of Aleppo, in an attempt to target civilians in Aleppo city and its surroundings.”.

The Ministry noted that the blatant Israeli aggression occurred a few hours after a similar aggression that destroyed a residential building in Damascus countryside, injuring two civilians and causing material losses.

The Ministry said: “The Syrian Arab Republic stresses that the Israeli violations of Syrian territory and its repeated aggressions on residential neighborhoods prove the aggressive and barbaric nature of this entity.”.

The Ministry called on all countries in the world to assume their responsibilities in the face of serious and repeated Israeli violations of the principles of international and humanitarian law, and to force the Zionist entity and its supporters to stop their attacks and crimes in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon.

Aleppo, SANA-Units of the Syrian Arab Army operating in the western countryside of Aleppo, killed and injured members of a group of “Al-Nusra Front” terrorists when they carried out an attack on a number of the Army posts on Friday dawn.

“Units of our armed forces operating in the western countryside of Aleppo inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists and left them dead and wounded, as well as seizing the bodies of several killed terrorists, including members of the so-called “Turkestan Foreigners Brigade”, Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The statement added that the attack by terrorist organizations took place synchronizing with the Israeli air aggression on Aleppo countryside, the terrorists’ attempted drone attack on civilians in Aleppo, and the attack by groups affiliated with the terrorist organization “ISIS” on some army positions in the vicinity of Palmyra.

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA-Scores of Palestinians were killed and injured on Friday morning in the ongoing Israeli aggression on the stricken Gaza for the 175th day.

Moscow, SANA- Russian air defense forces have shot down 15 missiles fired by Kiev forces over Belgorod province, southwestern Russia.

Aleppo, SANA- A number of civilians and military personnel were martyred and injured on Friday dawn, as a result of an Israeli aggression targeting a number of points in Aleppo countryside.

“Nearly at 1:45 am, the Israeli enemy launched an air attack from the direction of Athriya, southeast of Aleppo, targeting a number of points in Aleppo countryside coincided with an air attack carried out by terrorist organizations from Idlib and the western countryside of Aleppo province in an attempt to target civilians in Aleppo and its surroundings”, a military source told SANA.

On Thursday,two civilians were martyred and material damage occurred in an Israeli aggression on a residential building in Damascus countryside.

Damascus, SANA-Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor signed on Thursday a memorandum of understanding with the World Food Program on cooperation in a number of domains related to enhancing the social safety net programs and the social protection system in Syria.

The memorandum, signed by Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Louay al-Munjid, and the World Food Program’s country Director in Syria, Kenn Crossley , aims to support families that suffer from certain aspects of vulnerabilities and include members of persons with disabilities, families that include elderly persons or pregnant women, families sponsored by women, and families with disabilities. The vulnerable group includes children who have dropped out of school.

Minister Al-Munajjid indicated in a statement to reporters that the aim of the memorandum is to benefit from the experiences possessed by the program in establishing social protection networks in Syria that will lead to supporting the ministry’s efforts and enhancing the expertise it needs, adding that the system will be built entirely with national expertise, and in a way that suits the needs of the Syrian people.

For his part, Crossley said that the Program will support the ministry’s efforts in providing aid and support to the targeted groups, noting that the difficult circumstances facing the Syrian people require more aid and access to various vulnerable groups within it.

Damascus, SANA-Two civilians were injured Thursday in an Israeli aggression on a residential building in Damascus countryside.

“Nearly at 17.50 on Thursday, the Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression from the direction of occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a residential building in Damascus countryside,” a military source told SANA.

The attack wounded two civilians and led to some material losses, according to the source.

Vienna, SANA- Syrian academic musician Agob Kanouzi won the third place in the fourth Gloria Artists International Music Competition held in the Austrian capital, Vienna for the professional piano solo category.

Kanouzi told SANA that the professional competition with musicians from all over the world has an additional value for him in terms of challenge and determination in proving the ability of Syrian academic talents to achieve important positions in international competitions, despite the lack of capabilities as a result of the current circumstances facing the country.

Kanouzi began studying music at Salhi al-Wadi Institute in Damascus in 2004 and continued his studies at the Higher Institute of music moreover he participated with the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra as a soloist performing Tchaikovsky’s First Concerto in 2023 under the direction of Maestro Missak Baghboudarian , in addition he won the first prize at the 9th international competition for soloists in Moscow 2023.

Moscow, SANA- Russian military announced the entry of two of its warships into the Red Sea through the Bab-el-Mandeb sea strait after carrying out maneuvers in the Gulf of Aden.

The ships are the cruiser “Varyag” and the frigate “Marshal Shaposhnikov”, will sail through the Red Sea into the designated area of the Gulf of Aden where they will perform assigned missions, including the task to keep their anti-piracy watch, Tass quoted the Russian pacific fleet as saying in a statement today.

Ships of the Pacific Fleet continue their tasks as part of a periodic cruise through world waters.

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad issued Law No. (12) for 2024 regarding the protection of electronic personal data on the network.

The law aims to preserve the privacy of citizens’ data and regulate the process of collecting, processing, using and transferring personal information on the network in a way that ensures its confidentiality and deters perpetrators of illegal acts in this regard, through financial penalties that may reach to 12 million SYP and other punishments which may rise to three years imprisonment.

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Five Palestinians were injured and others were arrested on Thursday as Israeli occupation forces stormed different areas in the West Bank.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the Qalandia camp northeast of the occupied city of Jerusalem from several directions with a bulldozer that stationed in several areas there.

They raided and searched homes and opened fires on the Palestinians, causing the injury of four Palestinians and arresting two brothers from Abu Dis town, east of the city.

The occupation forces also stormed Nablus city in the West Bank, surrounded a building, and opened fires on the Palestinians, wounding one of them, as they raided house in Rafidia area.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces stormed many cities and towns as Tulkarm, Jenin, Hebron and others, and they raided and searched houses and deployed military reinforcements there, arresting 14 Palestinians, including a child.

On Wednesday, the occupation forces arrested 20 Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank.

Moscow, SANA-  Russia’s Investigative Committee has received 143 reports on people who went missing during the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall, TASS quoted the committee’s press service as saying.

“The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has received 143 reports from victims who say that their relatives or loved ones went missing as a result of the terrorist attack,” the statement reads.

In addition, the Investigative Committee said that 84 bodies had been identified, including the bodies of five children.

“Molecular genetic tests are being conducted to establish the identities of the rest of the dead people,” the committee said.

On the evening of March 22, a terrorist attack targeted the Crocus City Hall music venue in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, just over the Moscow city limits. The current death toll is 140. According to the latest information, 360 people were injured. Of those, 260 have received outpatient treatment.

Eleven individuals suspected of being involved in the terrorist attack have been apprehended, including four gunmen who were detained in the Bryansk Region, southwest of Moscow, as they attempted to seek refuge by crossing the nearby Ukrainian border.

President Vladimir Putin said in a televised address that, according to preliminary information, the Ukrainian side had prepared “a window” in the border especially for the terrorists to cross undetected. He promised to identify and punish all those who were behind the attack on Crocus City Hall.

Damascus – SANA- The People’s Assembly on Wednesday held its session, chaired by Speaker Hammouda Sabbagh, and approved a draft law on ratifying the protocol regarding the Convention of International Civil Aviation (Chicago Convention).

Minister of Transport, Zuhair Khuzaym, said this project aims to develop air transport between Syria and other countries, as Syria has approved the ratification of the proposed amendments for the Chicago Convention.

The Assembly also approved the draft law amending some provisions of Legislative Decree No. 42 of 2012 regarding medical laboratories and it became law.

The Minister of Health, Hassan al-Ghabbash, indicated that the amendment is based on the necessity of providing the health sector in Syria with cadres scientifically qualified in specializations in the field of laboratory work, along with working to license specific laboratories and benefit from technical expertise.

“Units of our armed forces operating in the direction of Kafr Nabl in Idlib southern countryside, responded with appropriate weapons to a violent attack launched by terrorist groups in coincide with heavy rocket fire on our military points yesterday evening, Military source told SANA.

The source added that our Forces also intercepted a terrorist attack on one of our military points in Aleppo northern countryside

Our armed forces managed to thwart the two attacks and caused dozens of dead and wounded among the terrorists, destroyed their weapons, the source reported.

Beirut, SANA-7 paramedics were martyred on Tuesday in a hostile Israeli airstrike that targeted an emergency center in the village of al- Habbariyeh, southern Lebanon.

“A raid targeted a building in Habbariyeh used by the Emergency and Relief Service, which is under its supervision,” Lebanese media outlets quoted Lebanese Emergency Center as saying in a statement.

The statement added “We consider this attack to be a heinous crime by all standards, and a flagrant violation of international laws and conventions, and the perpetrator of this crime bears full responsibility” Lebanese media quoted Lebanese Ambulance Association as saying in a statement.

For his part, an official in the association said: “More than ten paramedics were at the emergency center when it was targeted,” noting that bodies were recovered from under the rubble.

Israeli enemy continues its attacks on different Lebanese regions, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and wounded, in addition to the destruction of dozens of homes and causing severe damage to infrastructure.

MOSCOW, SANA- The US has backed itself into a corner by jumping the gun to lay blame on the Islamic State terrorist group (IS, outlawed in Russia) for the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall even as the incident was still in progress, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

“The very fact that within the first 24 hours [after the attack], even before the fire was put out, the Americans started screaming that it wasn’t Ukraine, I think, is a piece of incriminating evidence. I can’t classify it otherwise; it is evidence in and of itself,” the diplomat said on air during a Sputnik radio broadcast.

“The second fact to note concerns the clamor by the US that this assuredly was the work of ISIS (former name of IS – TASS),” the spokeswoman pointed out. “Of course, the speed with which they were able to [come to such forthright conclusions] is astonishing. It took them only a few hours to get to a microphone, turn on the lights, summon the press and draw a conclusion about who is to blame for this horribly bloody terrorist attack,” Zakharova said.

“I think they’ve boxed themselves into a corner, because as soon as they started screaming that it was ISIS, all those people who work in international relations, who are political scientists and experts, recalled and reminded everyone else what ISIS really is,” the diplomat said. “You are behind all those ISIS-type structures, you – the United States, Great Britain – yourselves brought them into being,” she concluded.
