The participants in the meeting considered the outcomes of the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) held in Cali, Colombia, in October 2024, the organisation of ongoing intersessional activities under the CBD and the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services.

The participants paid special attention to the decision of the 16th session of the Conference of the CBD Parties on establishing a global Cali Fund and further work of the Expert Group on this issue, as well as mechanisms to support participation of Russian experts in international conventions and organisations. They considered the progress of drafting a new National Biodiversity Conservation Strategy.

Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to discuss current issues pertaining to the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade, economic, and energy spheres.

The leaders agreed to maintain bilateral contacts at various levels.

Vladimir Putin met in the Kremlin with Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament (Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli) of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mayor of the city of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali.

In the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin held talks with Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council the Republic of Yemen Rashad Mohammad al-Alimi, who is in Russia on an official visit.

The meeting will be attended by nine families from the Sverdlovsk Region, the Republic of Crimea, the Ryazan Region, the Kaliningrad Region, the Republic of Ingushetia, the Penza Region, the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass, the Jewish Autonomous Region, and the Zaporozhye Region.

The Order of Parental Glory is awarded to parents or guardians who are raising or have raised seven or more children, while providing an adequate level of healthcare, education, and physical, spiritual, and moral development.

The title of Mother Heroine is awarded to mothers who gave birth to and raised ten or more children. The holders of the title are presented with the Mother Heroine order to be worn as a decoration.

The Order of Parental Glory was established by Presidential Executive Order in 2008, while the title and order of Mother Heroine were introduced in 2022.
