Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev

The President of the Republic of Belarus expressed his heartfelt condolences on the monstrous terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, conveyed words of sympathy and support to the victims’ families and wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured, emphasising that the people of Belarus stand together with the people of Russia in this time of sorrow.

Alexander Lukashenko offered any assistance that may be needed, and expressed his confidence that the organisers and perpetrators of this heinous crime will face inevitable punishment.

For his part, Vladimir Putin informed his counterpart about the detention of the terrorists directly involved in the attack, as well as about the ongoing investigation.

Both leaders expressed mutual readiness to continue close cooperation in the fight against terrorism.

Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov reported to the President about the detention of 11 persons, including four terrorists who directly participated in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. 

Alexander Bortnikov also updated Vladimir Putin on the FSB's work to identify the accomplice base of those who committed the terrorist attack.

Vladimir Putin was informed about the shooting at the Crocus City Hall in the first minutes of the attack.

The President receives regular updates on the situation and measures being taken by all relevant agencies. The President has given all the necessary instructions, Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin and Director of the National Guard Viktor Zolotov reported to Vladimir Putin on the progress of the investigation. The President also heard reports from Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, Emergencies Minister Alexander Kurenkov, Healthcare Minister Mikhail Murashko and Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov.

The President held a briefing with permanent members of the Security Council via videoconference.

Vladimir Putin signed executive orders awarding the 2023 Presidential Prize for Young Culture Professionals and the 2023 Presidential Prize for Writing and Art for Children and Young People.

During the telephone conversation, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi congratulated Vladimir Putin on his re-election as President of the Russian Federation, noting his great personal contribution to strengthening friendly relations between Russia and Egypt.

In turn, Vladimir Putin extended greetings to Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and the entire Egyptian nation for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

It was noted with satisfaction that the multifaceted cooperation between the countries is successfully developing as a strategic partnership, with major mutually beneficial projects underway in various spheres.

Current issues on the international agenda were considered, including the situation around Ukraine and in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone. Vladimir Putin praised Cairo's efforts to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

The expectation is that Egypt, as a full member of BRICS, will actively participate in events held as part of the Russian chairmanship.

It was agreed that contacts will continue at various levels.

Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with President of the All-Russian Public Organisation Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin.

During the telephone conversation, President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated Vladimir Putin on his unequivocal victory in the presidential election, wished him further success in his top government position and thanked him for his attention to the strengthening of relations between Russia and the UAE.

Having thanked the UAE leader for his kind wishes, Vladimir Putin in turn congratulated Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and all people of the UAE on the holy Muslim month of Ramadan.

Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the steady development of trade and economic cooperation that set new records last year. Russia and the United Arab Emirates will continue close cooperation at the international level, including various multilateral platforms.

The leaders also discussed the situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in the context of the efforts of the two countries to render humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.

Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the latter’s initiative.

Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 11th Trans-Siberian Art Festival.

Vladimir Putin met with trusted representatives, who supported him during the Russian presidential elections, in the St Andrew Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

During the extensive telephone call, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi congratulated Vladimir Putin on his landslide victory in the Russian presidential election and offered his sincere wishes of prosperity and well-being to the Russian people.

Both parties expressed satisfaction with the consistent and dynamic development of mutually beneficial ties in trade, the economy, investment, energy and transport, reflecting the spirit of their special and privileged strategic partnership.

The President and the Prime Minister also exchanged views on various issues on the international agenda, particularly regarding the situation around Ukraine. They affirmed their commitment to coordinating their countries' actions within multilateral formats, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and BRICS.

The conversation was warm and friendly. Vladimir Putin wished Narendra Modi successful parliamentary elections in India.

The President had a meeting with leaders of State Duma parliamentary groups at the Kremlin.

Vladimir Putin met at the Kremlin with Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Bakytzhan Sagintayev.

Vladimir Putin signed an Order On Holding the International Sports Forum, “Russia – a Sports Power” in 2025.

The President signed Executive Order On Additional Temporary Economic Measures Related to Fulfilling Obligations under Certain Securities.

The President signed Executive Order On Amendments to Presidential Executive Order No. 520 of August 5, 2022, On the Application of Special Economic Measures in the Financial, and Fuel and Energy Sectors in Connection with the Unfriendly Actions by Some Foreign States and International Organisations.
