US Troops Get Hurt In The Middle East Because Of The Assholes Who Put Them There

Caitlin Johnstone - 7. August 2024 - 4:30
Notes From The Edge Of The Narrative Matrix

Listen to a reading of this article (reading by Tim Foley):

Looking forward to the countless western media headlines and denunciations from western officials framing the coming Iranian retaliatory strikes on Israel as a completely unprovoked attack, like history began in that exact moment and Israel did nothing to warrant such aggression.

Western officials like Antony Blinken and David Lammy have been urgently going on about the need for “de-escalation” in the middle east. You’ll never see western officials as opposed to escalation as they are when Israel has committed an insanely escalatory act of war against Iran but Iran has not yet retaliated. They’re fine to let Israel rampage completely unchecked, but as soon as it crosses the red line of someone strong enough to exact a heavy price, they’re all about “de-escalation”.

Friendly reminder that all injuries and deaths of US military personnel in the middle east are always the fault of the Washington officials who put them there, not the middle easterners who are defending their own home.

Hmm, perhaps US troops should get the fuck out of Iraq? https://t.co/97aTu1Bqcy

— Caitlin Johnstone (@caitoz) August 6, 2024

“Racist violence has no place in our country,” say British leaders from the capital of history’s most racist and violent country, while feeding weapons to violent racists in Israel and Ukraine.

Israel is what happens when a whole nation makes an entire national identity out of being unyielding and uncompromising in response to past traumas. Every possible off-ramp away from war and genocide gets passed by because it would be weak to cede or compromise even a tiny bit.

American progressives celebrating getting Tim Walz as Kamala’s running mate instead of Josh Shapiro are like a kid celebrating the fact that the school bully only spit in his sandwich once instead of twice before making him eat it.

US progressives are so downtrodden and disrespected by the Democratic Party that a genocide monster choosing a less-shitty running mate than she could have chosen is seen as a generous and uplifting momentous event worthy of celebration and hope.

It's amazing the New York Times is still doing this shit even after their journalistic malpractice on Gaza has made them a meme in front of the entire world. https://t.co/Uf1ekoHerY

— Caitlin Johnstone (@caitoz) August 3, 2024

If Kamala Harris live-streamed herself torturing a puppy to death she’d lose the support of everyone, but openly backing the torture and murder of an entire enclave full of Palestinians is being overlooked by self-declared progressives as a forgivable little foible.

Near as I can tell, the actual position of US progressives is as follows:

  • When Benjamin Netanyahu does a genocide, it’s genocide.
  • If Trump were to continue the genocide, it would be genocide.
  •  When Democrats do a genocide, it’s good people making hard choices within the framework of the political realities of our time.

It’s either genocide or it’s not, and the answer to whether it is or isn’t shouldn’t depend on your political loyalties. If you don’t think the Biden administration is guilty of facilitating a genocide, then it makes sense for you to support Harris even if you have differences with her. If you do think it’s genocide, then anything you say in support of her is nonsensical. Everything after “Okay yes genocide is bad, but” can only be born of psychological compartmentalization to avoid mentally engaging the reality of what you’re seeing.

There are some things you just can’t excuse. Of these, genocide is at the very top of the list. Literally the very top. Vote however you want to vote, but stop lying about it. Stop twisting yourself into psychological knots to stave off the cognitive dissonance you’d experience if you directly grappled with the contradictions in your worldview. Don’t let anything in you shy away from the horrors of what’s happening in Gaza between now and November just because you have a partisan political outcome you don’t want to put a wobble on.

Be truthful.

AFL-CIO Strongly Supports Tim Walz for Vice President

Today, following Vice President Kamala Harris’ selection of Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate, the AFL-CIO announced our enthusiastic support for the Harris–Walz ticket.

“By selecting Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate, Kamala Harris chose a principled fighter and labor champion who will stand up for working people and strengthen this historic ticket,” said AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler. “We know that Gov. Walz will be a strong partner in the Harris White House, fighting every day to improve the lives of workers in communities across America. Gov. Walz isn’t only an ally to the labor movement, but also our union brother with a deep commitment to a pro-worker agenda.

“The labor movement stands united behind the Harris–Walz ticket, and we are ready to help lead the effort to defeat Donald Trump, JD Vance, and their anti-worker Project 2025 agenda in November.”

Background:

Gov. Tim Walz is a former public school teacher and union member who has proven that a pro-worker agenda is a winning agenda, especially in competitive states. He has delivered on a comprehensive, pro-union legislative package and created the gold standard for state governments aiming to do right by workers.

We know Walz will deliver for working people across the country as vice president, just as he has throughout his career. Gov. Walz has enacted some of the most pro-worker packages of legislation of any state in the country, including laws to:

  • Guarantee paid family and medical leave and mandate paid sick days.
  • Prohibit noncompete clauses.
  • Bar employers from holding anti-union captive audience meetings.
  • Strengthen protections for meatpacking workers and Amazon warehouse employees.
  • Strengthen the collective bargaining power of teachers’ unions, including allowing bargaining over educator-to-student classroom ratios.
  • Create a statewide council to improve conditions for nursing home workers. (The Guardian, 6/7/23 and Minnesota Reformer, 5/17/23)

Gov. Walz also has:

  • Reached a historic deal with Uber and Lyft that amounts to a 20% increase in driver pay and provides statewide wage and worker standards, even in the face of threats from Uber and Lyft to end service in Minnesota.
  • Invested $2.6 billion in much-needed infrastructure projects that create good, family-supporting jobs that pay prevailing wages.
  • Issued Executive Order 23-07, which established the Governor’s Committee on the Compensation, Wellbeing, and Fair Treatment of Transportation Network Company Drivers.

SEIU’s Verrett: “Harris-Walz is the working people’s ticket—We’re energized like never before”

Service Employees International Union (SEIU) International President April Verrett issued the following statement today in response to Vice President Kamala Harris’s choice of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate:

“Vice President Kamala Harris has made a great decision in picking Governor Tim Walz for her running mate to defeat Donald Trump. From his time in the classroom to serving in the National Guard and Congress, Governor Walz has delivered tremendous wins for working people in Minnesota. Under his leadership, the state legislature passed the most pro-worker package of laws in decades, the Minnesota Miracle, making it easier for workers to form unions, strengthening worker protections, cracking down on union-busting practices, and creating the nation’s first nursing home workforce standards board.

Governor Walz has been a steadfast partner to Minnesota’s working families. He walked a day in the shoes of home care workers and made record investments in public education, including unemployment benefits for bus drivers, food service workers, paraeducators and others who do essential work supporting students. He paved the way for record contracts between his administration and health care workers, raising wages to as much as $22.50 an hour. Governor Walz has championed guaranteed family and medical leave for workers and middle-class tax breaks for Minnesotans. He supported janitors and nursing home workers l when they were on strike in March, and we were proud to see him join UAW workers on the picket line during last year’s strikes.

In contrast to the Trump-Vance ticket, who continue to spew hate and try to divide us, Governor Walz has actually championed not-yet-union workers, racial and immigrant justice and climate action. Working people will decide this election. Voters of all races and backgrounds are excited to march to the polls like never before to elect the leaders who work for us and promote them to the White House: Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz.”

AFSCME’s Saunders on Harris’ VP pick: Tim Walz is a labor champion who personifies what public service is all about

AFSCME President Lee Saunders released the following statement after Vice President Kamala Harris announced Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate:

“Tim Walz personifies what public service is all about: Doing for others and never leaving anyone behind. He learned these values while serving in the National Guard, and he lived them as a teacher and football coach in Mankato, Minnesota. He has always been the first to lend a helping hand in his community, and today, this is how he governs – empowering worker voices and defending those who have made public service a career.

“As governor, he took on billion-dollar corporations to ban private prisons in Minnesota, keeping profit motives out of the justice system while protecting the jobs of AFSCME corrections officers. He went on to pass legislation guaranteeing free breakfast and lunch for young students statewide, giving AFSCME school employees the tools they need to keep kids energized and ready to learn. Walz did all this for Minnesota’s communities while getting state workers a historic contract with across-the-board raises.

“Gov. Walz shows what our communities can look like when we lead with empathy. He is a labor champion who will take pro-worker values with him to the White House. Together with Kamala Harris, they will defend our freedoms — to care for our families, to have a voice on the job, to thrive. We look forward to mobilizing the full strength of our union to ensure that this dynamic ticket wins on Nov. 5.”

NEA: Educators are fired up and united behind Harris-Walz

Becky Pringle, president of the National Education Association – the largest Labor union in America - released the following statement celebrating Vice President Kamala Harris’s pick of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate today:

“The country’s educators and students have always been able to count on Vice President Kamala Harris. She has delivered once again for students, educators, and working families with the exceptional choice of Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.

“Gov. Walz is known as the “Education Governor” because he has been an unwavering champion for public school students and educators, and an ally for working families and unions. As a high school teacher and NEA member Walz is committed to uplifting our public schools. He has a track record of getting things done to make people’s lives better. Walz successfully passed legislation providing free school meals to every Minnesota student, ensuring no child will have to learn on an empty stomach. He increased education spending by billions of dollars, raised teacher pay, enacted paid family and medical leave for all families, provided unemployment insurance to hourly school workers, and expanded the collective bargaining rights of Minnesotans. We know he will be a valued partner to both Vice President Harris as well as educators and parents, advocating every day, so our students have the resources they need to succeed.

“Educators are fired up and united to get out and elect the Harris-Walz ticket. We know we can count on a continued and real partnership to expand access to free school meals for students, invest in student mental health, ensure no educator has to carry the weight of crushing student debt, and do everything possible to keep our communities and schools safe.

"There is so much at stake in this election for our students and our country. Donald Trump is a convicted felon who only cares about himself. This is the same man who entrusted Betsy DeVos, the least qualified secretary of education in history, to attempt to dismantle our public schools. Trump’s extreme, unprecedented Project 2025 agenda would fundamentally alter the American government and jeopardize our children’s futures and give Trump unprecedented power over our daily lives. He wants to ban books, take learning opportunities away from students, make educators pay more in taxes than billionaires, and eliminate the U.S. Department of Education. Simply put, Donald Trump and JD Vance would be disastrous for the future of our country.

“The choice in this election couldn’t be more clear. The 3-million members of the NEA will show their power by turning out, volunteering and making their voices heard because we know that electing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz is the only way we can take America forward."

AFT’s Weingarten on Kamala Harris’ Selection of Tim Walz as Her Running Mate

AFT President Randi Weingarten released the following statement after Vice President Kamala Harris picked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate:

“Gov. Walz has been an unabashed champion for families, for public education, for educators and other workers throughout his life in public service. He knows the promise of public education. He shares our commitment to solving problems and forging a future in which all Americans can get ahead, not just get by.

“Walz and Harris are about opportunity and freedom—the freedom to join a union, the freedom to thrive, to make our own healthcare decisions, to be free from gun violence. They will stand up for the middle class against a weak, dark, dystopian alternative that wants to send us back to the past.

“Gov. Walz is a proud educator who drew on his experience in the classroom to show Minnesotans what a pro-education, pro-labor administration can look like. He is from a small town, served in the military and has consistently given back to his community. He believes the essence of America is to be kind to your neighbor and to help those around you thrive. And he is a former AFT member.

“The contrast is clear: Gov. Walz oversaw billions of dollars in increased funding to Minnesota public schools, provided free school meals to every student and guaranteed unemployment insurance to hourly school workers. Trump and Vance want to destroy educational opportunity, abolish programs that help the least well-off, and pass unaccountable voucher programs.

“Gov. Walz expanded collective bargaining rights, fought wage theft, enacted paid family and medical leave, and took on mandatory captive audience meetings. And he unreservedly supports a woman’s right to make her own reproductive health decisions. The Harris-Walz team will build on the Biden administration’s legacy as the most labor-friendly administration in history and will continue to grow our economy from the bottom up and the middle out.

“The AFT’s 1.8 million members will stand with Walz and Harris over the next 12 weeks as they campaign to realize the promise and potential of America. We will hit the road to defeat Donald Trump and JD Vance from coast to coast and keep their extremist policies out of the White House for good. The future starts here—and we are not going back.”

EPA emergency order immediately suspends all uses of highly toxic weedkiller DCPA, sold under brand name Dacthal

Today the Environmental Protection Agency announced an emergency order immediately suspending all uses of the highly toxic weedkiller sold under the brand name Dacthal due to its significant health risks – particularly for farmworkers and pregnant people.

Also known as DCPA, dimethyl tetrachloroterephthalate and chlorthal-dimethyl, the herbicide was banned in the European Union in 2009, and the EPA has long known of its potential harm to people.

“The EPA’s decision to finally suspend DCPA is welcome news, but it’s long overdue,” said Environmental Working Group Senior Toxicologist Alexis Temkin, Ph.D. “For years, EWG and other public health advocates have warned about the serious risks the weedkiller poses to farmworkers, pregnant people and other vulnerable populations.”

In 1995

– nearly 30 years ago – the agency classified DCPA as a “possible carcinogen.”. That decision was based on a study conducted by Dacthal’s manufacturer in 1993, which showed it caused thyroid tumors in animals, suggesting similar potential threats to people.

In 2013, the EPA required AMVAC, the sole DCPA manufacturer in the U.S., to submit an additional study showing the chemical’s effects on the fetal thyroid among other information.

AMVAC’s research, finally submitted to the EPA in 2022, showed even low doses of DCPA exposure can harm the developing fetus.

During the nearly 10 years before it finally complied with the EPA’s requirement, the company continued producing and selling Dacthal.

And AMVAC didn’t submit other data requested. So in August 2023, the agency suspended use of the pesticide, a de facto temporary ban.

Yet three months later the EPA lifted that suspension

, once again allowing Dachtal’s use – until today.

The EPA’s emergency order immediately halts all uses of the herbicide.

Permanently banning DCPA

The new suspension means DCPA is banned even while the EPA begins the cancellation process for the pesticide, which will lead to a permanent ban of DCPA.

It is the first time in nearly 40 years the EPA has exercised its emergency authority to suspend the use of a pesticide to “prevent imminent hazard.”

This means the EPA believes continued use of the pesticide while the lengthy cancellation process plays out would cause harm to people, and that no mitigation measures would be adequate to protect people.

DCPA has been in use in this country since the late 1950s. These days, it can be found on vegetables like cilantro, kale, mustard greens, broccoli and green onions. That’s because, after it’s used to kill weeds, the chemical can linger in the soil for long periods of time, contaminating crops later grown in those fields.

EWG research published in 2019 identified DCPA on nearly 60 percent of kale samples tested by the Department of Agriculture. The USDA also found the pesticide on many collard and mustard green samples.

DCPA’s toxic effects on people

The EPA identified DCPA’s ability to harm the thyroid in the 1990s,

based on studies submitted by the pesticide manufacturer. According to a 2011 agency document

, a 2004 human health risk assessment identified the need to understand how DCPA harms the thyroid in the developing fetus.

A 2022 peer-reviewed study

by EWG scientists identified DCPA as a pesticide of concern, due to its toxicity and capacity to harm the thyroid and its classification as a possible cause of cancer.

Other EWG research found that, even though the EPA had evidence of DCPA’s health risks, up to 200,000 pounds of the chemical were sprayed during some years in California – even as the agency delayed action.

A 2019 study

led by scientists at the University of California at Berkeley School of Public Health found that more than half of adolescent girls from farmworker communities in the Salinas Valley had been exposed to DCPA.

Since 2019, EWG has warned about DCPA's risks to human health, calling on the EPA to ban it in 2021 public comments and again in official comments to the agency in July 2023.

“Countless people have been exposed to DCPA while the EPA abdicated its responsibility,” said Temkin. “The agency should have taken action decades ago, when it first identified the human health risks posed by this toxic crop chemical.”

Mikdad, Bagheri Kani discuss latest developments … Israeli crimes will not go unpunished

SANA - Syrian Arab News Agency - 6. August 2024 - 20:28

Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, discussed with Iranian Acting Foreign Minister, Ali Bagheri Kani, the latest developments in the region, especially the Israeli escalation and its recent attacks on a number of countries in the region, including the crime committed by the Zionist entity in Tehran which led to the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh as well as the aggression that led to the martyrdom of Fouad Shukr in Lebanon.

Mikdad, in a telephone call with Bagheri, said that the Zionist entity goes far beyond in its policy of escalation, expands the scope of its aggression in the region and commits war crimes and genocide in the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly in Gaza Strip which must not go unpunished.

“Syria stands by Iran and the Resistance forces to confront the Israeli crimes,” Mikdad said.

He also condemned the collusion of the United States of America and Western countries with the crimes of the Zionist entity, as they are partners in the aggression against Iran, Lebanon, Yemen and Syria.

In turn, Minister Bagheri Kani stressed that what the Zionist entity is doing is the result of its failure in its war against the Palestinian people and its attempt to export its crisis and expand the circle of war in the region, adding the recent attacks by the Zionist entity on Yemen, Lebanon, Tehran, and before that on Syria, which were carried out with American and Western support, will not go unpunished.

He expressed his country’s thanks and gratitude to Syria for its continuous support to Iran and its people, especially in light of those circumstances to which region is going through.

The two ministers stressed the continuation of consultation and coordination and exerting every effort to stop the Zionist attacks, defeat Israeli and Western plots, and achieve security and stability in the region and the world.

Science Group Condemns Repression Tactics by Citi, NYPD Against Climate Activists

Organizers with the Summer of Heat on Wall Street campaign report that Citi and the New York Police Department (NYPD) have been escalating attempts to suppress nonviolent protests and inhibit freedom of speech and free assembly at the bank’s headquarters in New York City, including by targeting specific activists for arrest. The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) is one of more than 100 organizations endorsing the Summer of Heat campaign.

Below is a statement by Kathy Mulvey, the accountability campaign director for the Climate and Energy Program at UCS, who has more than 30 years of experience in corporate accountability campaigning.

“As an endorser of the Summer of Heat on Wall Street, UCS is in solidarity with climate activists peacefully protesting Citi’s continued financing of fossil fuel expansion during the accelerating climate crisis. We condemn the unjust reported targeting of campaign leaders by Citi’s Security and Intelligence Services and the NYPD.

“According to the 2024 Banking on Climate Chaos report, Citi is the second largest financier of fossil fuels and the largest financier of fossil fuel expansion since the Paris climate agreement. This summer, more than 750 scientists and researchers led by UCS sent an open letter to top Citi executives emphasizing the need to end fossil fuel finance, invest in renewable energy, and respect human rights and Indigenous sovereignty. The science is clear: rapidly phasing out fossil fuels is necessary to allow for economic prosperity and a livable future for people and the planet.

“The window to avert the worst impacts of climate change is rapidly closing, and we staunchly support people around the world who are taking bold, creative, and peaceful action to stop the deadly harms that Big Oil and its financiers are causing. Efforts by the fossil fuel industry and its allies to criminalize and suppress protests imperil democratic freedoms and obstruct meaningful climate action. UCS calls on Citi security and the NYPD to drop baseless charges, cease repression tactics, and respect the constitutional rights of Summer of Heat protesters.”

If you have any questions or would like to arrange an interview with Mulvey or another UCS expert, please contact UCS Climate and Energy Media Manager Ashley Siefert Nunes.

430 Health Care Providers Ask President Biden to Act Now

Today, Physicians for Reproductive Health sent a letter to President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and lawmakers in support of abortion care and gender affirming care. Signed by 430 health care professionals, the letter asks that in the final months of the Administration, they prioritize the needs of people who need abortions and gender affirming care with bold policy solutions, not a return to frameworks like Roethat never met our needs. Read the letter in its entirety.

In response to the letter, Dr. Jamila Perritt, President & CEO of Physicians for Reproductive Health issued the following statement:

“As an ob/gyn, I see patients daily who don’t feel safe and validated in their health care experiences. Whether they are seeking abortions, contraception, or gender-affirming care, patients face immense emotional and logistical challenges, navigating a maze of stigma, misinformation, and limited access to essential, life-saving health care. These struggles often lead to delayed care, increased health risks, poor health outcomes, and a profound sense of isolation. My patients deserve more.

“The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has dramatically intensified these inequities, resulting in a surge of undesired or mistimed pregnancies, preventable health complications, and heightened barriers to accessing culturally responsive, community grounded care. Providers are now forced to travel to states without legal restrictions to practice and train, disrupting the continuity and availability of health care. This seismic shift is reshaping our health system, as emerging providers face obstacles in obtaining comprehensive reproductive health care training, leaving significant gaps in our ability to serve our communities. This must change.

In addition to advocating for policy change, we must first transform how we discuss this essential, life-saving care.

“To make matters worse, the use of stigmatizing language when discussing access to abortion later in pregnancy or about gender-affirming care for young people inflicts tremendous harm, particularly when such rhetoric comes from our nation’s leaders. The members of our communities who are most vulnerable to systemic and intersecting oppressions, including Black and Indigenous people of color, LGBTQIA2A+ folx, people living with disabilities, and those facing financial hardship, are disproportionately impacted by these restrictive policies and stigmatizing rhetoric. In addition to advocating for policy change, we must first transform how we discuss this essential, life-saving care. From adopting more inclusive and appropriate language, to centering the agency, autonomy, and privacy of patients seeking abortions and gender-affirming care, we must always prioritize the health and well-being of those we care for. We have an obligation to our communities to do so.

Unfortunately, Roe v. Wade was never enough to ensure our communities obtained the care they needed. It was, in fact, barely a starting point.

“Full-spectrum reproductive and gender-affirming health care are not only essential, life-saving services, but fundamental human rights. At PRH, we envision a world where every individual has access to comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based health care. In this world, decisions about one’s body are made by individuals, supported by trusted health care providers, family, and friends—not by politicians. Unfortunately, Roe v. Wade was never enough to ensure our communities obtained the care they needed. It was, in fact, barely a starting point. We must continue to advocate for more robust political solutions for those seeking abortions and gender-affirming care, regardless of locality, race, sex, gender, or socioeconomic status. Today, we are calling for bold and brave solutions that support individuals in seeking the care they need free of stigma, delays, and barriers.

As providers, it is our responsibility to offer compassionate health care and evidence-based advocacy, to support our patients to the best of our abilities, and ultimately, to build a future where everyone is positioned to thrive. It is my hope that this letter will inspire change within our current legislative landscape, centering the humanity and dignity of those at the margins of oppression.”

Seniors Praise Choice of Governor Tim Walz as Running Mate

Citing his long record of public service as a member of the U.S. House and Governor of Minnesota, retirees applaud Vice President Kamala Harris’ choice of Governor Tim Walz as her Vice Presidential nominee.

“Vice President Harris’ selection of Governor Tim Walz as her running mate is another exciting and promising sign for seniors and their families. She has clearly chosen someone who understands what matters most to older Americans and will fight for us,” said Robert Roach, Jr., President of the Alliance.

“Tim Walz understands that Social Security is essential. After his father died, his mother relied on those benefits to keep the household running,” he added. “Like Vice President Harris, he will fight to make sure the benefits we’ve earned will be there for current and future retirees.”

As a member of the U.S. House from 2007-2019, Rep. Walz earned a 92% lifetime score in the Alliance for Retired Americans’ annual Congressional Voting Record. He voted to pass the Affordable Care Act in 2010 which gave 65 million Medicare beneficiaries screenings at no cost for diabetes, heart disease, breast, colon and prostate cancers and lower drug prices by closing the Medicare Part D doughnut hole.

“If he is elected Vice President, retirees should feel confident that the Harris-Walz administration will work hard to strengthen and protect their hard earned Social Security and Medicare benefits,” said Richard Fiesta, Executive Director of the Alliance.

Governor Walz has been a pro-senior governor of Minnesota. He signed paid family and medical leave into law which helps seniors and families in times of need. His budgets included provisions to support retirees and family caregivers, prioritizing vaccines for seniors during the pandemic.

“Older Americans can trust the Harris-Walz team to build on Vice President Harris’ record of lowering drug prices and protecting retirees’ hard earned pensions from their first day in office,” added Fiesta.

In contrast, J.D. Vance earned just a 13% lifetime Pro-Retiree Score in the Alliance for Retired Americans Congressional Voting Record for his votes against pro-retiree legislation when he served in the U.S. Senate.

“Donald Trump has spoken openly and plainly about slashing Medicare and Social Security spending in a second term as President. Sen. Vance also supports cutting those benefits,” added Fiesta. “The selection of Sen. Vance as his running mate was another major step in that misdirection.”

“The Alliance’s 4.4 million members will work their hardest to ensure that the Harris-Walz team is elected in November,” said President Roach.
